NYX Cosmetics In Your Element Earth Palette Review

NYX Cosmetics In Your Element Earth Palette Review

Today, I am bringing you a COMPLETE detailed review (with swatches) of the NYX Cosmetics in Your Element Earth Palette. Does it hold up?

This palette comes with 12 eyeshadow shades. NYX also released 3 lipstick shades to correspond with the shade range (sold separately). I did NOT purchase the lipstick shades, so they are not included in this review.

*I have included swatches on my daughter, Alicia’s, skin tone as well as she is several shades darker than me.*

The shades are NOT named, so we’re going off numbers.

You guys know I LOVE a good shimmery shade, so it should come to no surprise that I love shades 5, 6, 9, and 11. The shades are very pigmented and creamy, and are applied better with fingertips than brushes.

My arm is on top, and Alicia’s is on the bottom.

Shade 1 is far peachier than the nude I was expecting. Yet, on Alicia’s skin – it doesn’t seem very peachy at all. Other than that, the rest of the shades are basically the same. I love how textured the shimmery shades look, and honestly – no photo could do them justice.

All in all, the shades blend really well. The shades are all different, but correlate well with each other. You’ll notice there is more than one green, more than one pink, brown, gray, and so on. This makes it easy to create looks using just this one palette.

Oh, and did I mention? This palette is only $30! STEAL!

The palette is very beautiful. The packaging isn’t super special, but fits well when paired with the other 5 In Your Element Palettes (don’t forget, this is part of a 6-palette collection!) The shades are breathtaking and velvety smooth, and I’m having a blast playing with it. All in all, I would definitely recommend it!
