December Bullet Journal Flip Through

December Bullet Journal Flip Through

I am so ecstatic to be continuing my Bujo Flip Through Series on my blog. My Plan With Me videos have always been very popular with my viewers, and I’m glad I get to expand on this series over on my blog as well. Anyway, keep reading for a more detailed view of how I use the systems I create in my monthly, weekly, and daily spreads.

By the way, if you’re not up to speed on what a Bullet Journal is, check this out.

December is, of course, centered around Christmas so I knew I would go with a Christmas theme. However, it’s easy to get swept up in the capitalism of it all, so I thought I would go with this little humble tree from A Charlie Brown Christmas. I love it!

I love to have a monthly overview that I can actually write in! I don’t create my weekly spreads in advance, so this page is helpful for times when meetings, appointments, or other events come up for future weeks. I’m still playing with how I work my SOCIAL TRACKERS, which track my growth on YouTube, Instagram, and WordPress. I also included a master TO DO LIST, for those tasks that don’t have a set deadline, but I know I want to get done at some point. Finally, I have a QUOTE OF THE MONTH. I always try to stick to my monthly theme, and a theme-fitting quote just ties it all in. This month, I chose, “It’s not what’s under the Christmas tree that matters, it’s who’s around it.”

I absolutely LOVE watching Christmas movies, so it’s no surprise that I wanted a page in my Bullet Journal that has all the movies I binge-watch during the Holiday Season. This wasn’t meant to be a tracker, just a cute homage to my favorite Christmas films.

If you’ve been reading my previous flip throughs, than you know I’m a little over zealous about my workout habits. I have yet to actually workout more than a couple of days each month, but if it wasn’t for these little fitness trackers, I probably would never work out at all! For this spread, each colored ornament signifies a day I worked out.

I have been playing with different budget and expense trackers, and realized that none of them were really working for me. This month was no different as I didn’t fill in a single expense at all! Just so hard to be motivated to work on a spread that you know isn’t doing anything for you.

I always love watching my social media following grow, because I feel like all the hard work I put into the content I create is being appreciated. Plus, it makes me feel less like I’m talking to no one LOL! I though it was fitting that I use these little presents to represent my followers since each of you truly is a gift! (Cheesy, I know.)

Personally, I love having a weekly spread with a clear view of each day. If I had to keep flipping pages to get to each day, I would drive myself nuts! My spreads usually consist of a monthly overview, and events section (so they don’t get lost in my list of daily to-do’s), my daily sections, a tiny meal planner, habit tracker, shopping list, and a tracker for Alicia. I also like to have a GOAL OF THE WEEK. This isn’t always the case as I am constantly tweaking the weekly spreads to match my theme and what is and is not working for me.

I love incorporating my theme into the days of the month of my daily spreads, so I continued it this month. These are supposed to be ornaments, but I’m not in love with them. I also drew little footprints at the bottom signify the amount of steps I took each day, and water droplets to signify the glasses of water I drank.

I am ON LOVE with how cute my little Christmas trees came out! My events is looking pretty empty, but I don’t mind it so much during the winter as I’d rather stay indoors. I was kinda all over the place with how I set up my trackers, but it a fun challenge. My favorite is my steps tracker, although I think filling in with the numbers kinda ruined it.

Next up is gift tags! I love how these easy little doodles came out, but had a hard time keeping up with my bullet journaling. With Justin’s family coming into town and my events getting a little busier, it took a backseat. You’ll notice there is absolutely NOTHING going on with my trackers. 😦

I set up this Christmas Stocking spreads, and basically did not open my journal again for the rest of the week. The week of Christmas is always hectic, eventful, and with my dad in town – AND the kids all getting sick; there was no doing any planning.

Again, I couldn’t even be bothered to finish my spread this week. I ended up getting super sick and not doing anything. Woops!

I ended up going for a really cute wreath themed MEMORIES spread. Even if the month didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted, it’s always nice to look back on the month.

That’s it for this month’s flip-through! I hope you’ve gotten some nice Bujo/Planner/Organizer inspo. If you have any tips, leave them in the comments! Don’t forget to check out my January Plan With Me Theme here!
